Now eating
Similar to the usual "now playing"-threads, I've seen this in another metal forum, i think it fits here very well ;-)
I'm not eating at the moment, but I'm already becoming hungry.

Bread with dark chocolate cream (vegan, of course)
Yesterday i had those "Veggie Hacksteaks" I meantioned before. No problem to eat it, was not special though. I don't really think meat tastes that way, but I can't remember.

Re: Now eating
Almost time for my lunch break.
I'm going to eat this dish I improvised yesterday -
Gluten, condensed tofu and straw mushrooms in Sambal Oelek (spicy Indonesian) sauce.
And some big ass green salad.
I made enough for two meals.

of course I know it! here you are!!!voiceless wrote:May it's selfmade? Anyone knows a good vegan recipe for classical green pesto?
Ingredients (for 4 people):
-30g pine nuts
-and handful of basil
-olive oil
-salt (just a little bit)
-(if you want...i never add it in mine)garlic!
put all the ingredients in the mixer..and....voilà!
you can dress any kind of pasta, but with fusilli or even spaghetti is the best! 8)And..you can also add some whole pine nuts then! yummy!!
you can also add pepper, nutritional yeast...or use other nuts...but the TRUE ( )pesto is with pine nuts!!

Re: Now eating
Here you are the pic and the recipe!! It's simply delicious!! Modestly...
Ingredients:
-300 g vegan biscuits,
-300 g soy whipped cream (I used Soyatoo!)
-300 ml white yofu,
-5 spoons cane brown minced sugar,
-4-5 cups coffee (not hot!)
For the hazelnut cream(....or you simply can use and already-made vegan nutella, ecc.):
-100 groasted hazelnuts,
-100 g dark chocolate,
-3-4 spoons soy or rice milk,
-1 spoon cane brown minced sugar
Put in the fridge the soy cream with the whipper and the container at least 30 minutes before, because in this way the cream whips better.
In the meanwhile start to prepare the hazelnut cream putting the hazelnuts in a blender (if you have a coffee grinder is perfect!!).
If you keep on grinding the hazelnuts, you should get a smooth cream, because the hazelnuts will give their own oil off.
Then cook in a double saucepan the dark chocolate(you boil some water in a pot and then you put another pot in it that touches the water with the dark chocolate within...the chocolate will blend because of the steam).
Then mix the chocolate with the hazelnut cream and 4 spoons of soy or rice milk and a spoon of cane brown minced sugar.
Then whip the soy cream and then add 5 spoons of cane brown minced sugar and the yofu and then keep on whipping.
Put 3-4 cups of coffee (but not hot) in a dish and dip the biscuits in the coffee (not too much!).
Put 2 layers of these biscuits whipped in the coffee in a glass or pyrex pan and then add a layer of hazelnut cream and then a layer of soy whipped cream...then another layer of biscuits dipped in coffee and then another layer of hazelnuts' cream and then finish with the last layer of soy whipped cream.
Then put some cocoa powder or dark chocolate flakes and then put in the fridge!
Serve several hours after!
