Summer Festivals

Oh, I can't buy it now.

I'll definetly be at MEtal Camp next Year, because they booked Blind Guardian and i wanted to check that out. Wacken and Rock artea, i'Ve already bought the tickets. And I'm even thinking about Hellfest too, but that depends on further bands, if they get something really special..

I will be at the Obscene Extrem festival this year (there is a lot of vegan stuff !!!) and maybe at the Brutal Grind Assault but I can understand if you dislike it, it's really GrindCore

Yes, a pure extreme metal oder grindcore festival is not what I like. I'm not into the very extremes and I need diversity in styles. Sadly, that seems to be the domain for vegans..

Seeing ManOwaR qould certainly be fun. But that alone isn't worth travelling 900 km for me. Maybe if you'll get more interesting stuff there.

How is the general atmosphere at Hellfest? How many visitors has it got? And most important: How is the Camping situation?? Can you camp beside your car?
I discovered it's only about 780 km, so its about the same distance as Wacken and Metalcamp. Get IRON MAIDEN and/or IMMORTAL and I'll be there for sure *g*

My friends band, Joe Pesci, are playing Obscene Extreme this year & there's a possibility i may be helping them out on bass, as they havent a bass player at the moment.

So anyway, might be going Obscene this year. Can't wait to sample the food! Oh yeah

The atmosphere is cool but less than Wacken. There is 15 000 visitors.
The camping is horrible. You can't camp beside your car and there is no water supply or so few and toilets are silly.

Immortal was here past last year so don't count on it. This year it's Manowar

Directly right at the entrance there is a vegan "restaurant" you can't miss it (less than 1 euros vegan burger). We will see each other this year then !
